If you've been searching for fresh school fundraiser ideas that don't involve selling overpriced wrapping paper or asking your neighbors to buy cookie dough for the third year in a row, we have good news.

This April, Jackalo is running a school fundraiser program — and it's designed to be as simple and low-lift as possible for the schools and PTAs that participate.

Here's everything you need to know.

What Is the Jackalo School Fundraiser?

Jackalo is a children's clothing brand built around one core idea: kids' clothes should be made for real play, built to last, and designed to be loved. We believe in quality over quantity, sustainability over fast fashion, and giving back to the communities we're part of.

The school fundraiser is an extension of that. Throughout the month of April, we're partnering with schools and PTAs to help them raise money — simply by shopping for clothes their kids will actually wear.

How It Works

The program runs on three simple steps:

1. Apply A fundraising leader from your school or PTA fills out a short application form. We'll review it and follow up quickly with next steps. All participating organizations need to be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits — for public and charter schools, that typically means the PTA or PTO.

2. Share Once approved, your school receives a unique fundraiser code to share with your community — parents, families, teachers, anyone who wants to support the school. Share it in your newsletter, your WhatsApp groups, your school's social media. The more people who use it, the more your school earns.

3. Earn At the end of April, Jackalo donates 10% of the total sale price (exclusive of any shipping costs) of every purchase made using your school's code directly to your school or PTA.

That's it. No catalogues. No order forms. No chasing down payments. Just a code, a community, and clothes kids will love.

Why a Kids Clothing Fundraiser?

Most PTA fundraiser ideas ask families to spend money on things they wouldn't otherwise buy. A kids clothing fundraiser is different — because parents are already buying kids' clothes. Jackalo just makes it possible to turn that everyday purchase into something that gives back to your school.

And because Jackalo is built on sustainability and durability, you're not encouraging throwaway fast fashion. Every piece is designed to be worn hard, washed often, and passed down when kids grow out of it. That's a purchase families can feel good about — and so can your school.

Who Can Participate?

The program is open to:

  • Public schools — through a registered PTA or PTO (501(c)(3))
  • Independent/private schools — schools registered directly as 501(c)(3) nonprofits
  • Charter schools — through a registered parent organization or foundation (501(c)(3))

If you're not sure whether your school or organization qualifies, the application form is the best place to start — or feel free to reach out to us directly.

Why Sign Up Before April?

April goes fast. The sooner your school is approved and your code is in the hands of your community, the more time families have to shop — and the more your school earns. We're accepting applications now, so there's no reason to wait.

If you're a PTA president, school fundraising coordinator, or parent who wants to make this happen for your school, you can get the ball rolling today.
